ASSA ABLOY RP2000 doors are high-speed machine protection doors with a rigid curtain made of aluminum slats that provides the utmost protection from automated machine activity. This door was specifically developed for robot and laser welding applications. The ASSA ABLOY RP2000 series features smart design elements that improve automation, ensure safety and help meeting high industry standards.

The ASSA ABLOY RP2000 opens incredibly fast to ensure short cycle times – up to 5 door cycles per minute are possible. The rugged design stands up in harsh, industrial environments and provides process reliability after a high number of cycles.

  • Door curtain: slats are made of anodised aluminium as standard. They can be equipped with windows made of polycarbonate (250 x 40 mm) as option. Number of windows depends on the door width
  • Webbed foot plates for self-supporting installation
  • Safety limit switches according to PL d/cat. 3 and PL e/cat. 4 (EN ISO 13849-1), SIL 3 (EN 62061)
  • Doors conform to EN ISO 12100, EN ISO 14119 and EN ISO 14120
  • Control system: ASSA ABLOY MCC frequency control
  • Connecting to machine via dry contacts or fieldbus system
